You could dine at restaurant or eat casual snacks, taste, drink and buy wine, wander around and spot wallabies and curlews hear frogs in the pond and stay in comfy, cozy glamping pavillion tents. My only negative was that despite being in a quiet, private and spacious location you could hear road noise in the accomodation. "We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay at Mt Cotton Retreat. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!"

"Room was clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Only problem was if you are in a ground floor room you can hear the elephants above you but that is not a fault of the motel and happens in most multi story accommodation."
