"The Novotel in Clermont-Ferrand was conveniently just off the autoroute. Good protected parking and very efficient check-in. (And they are DOG FRIENDLY). Rooms are what you expect, although our room was way too warm and even we couldn't regulate the temperature satisfactorily. Not sure what was going on, but the thermostat was not responding. The best part: The food offerings at the Novotel are excellent. A very good bar menu of bistro fare, including Croque Monsieurs. But the...

"Family of 4 short stay - we had a lovely 4 days at Le Panorama. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The lounge and dining area are very relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are ok. In need of a little modernizing but were warm and functional. The swimming pool was at the end of a strange spiral staircase but the water was warm and good after skiing. Good location with easy access to town."

"The room smelt of bad drains. In fact the whole corridor smelt awful as we were walking to the room. We were so tired from the journey we put up with it and mentioned it at reception when paying. It was met with a shrug of the shoulders, as if it wasn't their problem. Nothing was deducted from the bill, so we paid alot for a really poor experience and shan't be returning. There are considerably better options nearby, cheaper, cleaner and where they have a service mentality. Give this...
