"We were pleasantly surprised! Cabarette is a busy fun vacation location .... not peaceful but fun! The Brisas Dorados guest house is located in a quiet pretty residential area at the beach but no street noise about 2km out of town! Absolutely beautiful. Warm and caring hosts Digby and Anna. Breakfast was lovely. Upper rooms are spacious and have a great view. Good walking beach. Highly recommend this peaceful oasis!!"

"We reserved the Royal Suites for our second day in teh Puerto Plata area. The first day we stayed at Casa Colonial and it was awsome! At Lifestyles from the begining even checking in was painful, there were a lot of people we had to wait to check in and then wait for the room to be ready. Once we got to the room we were very dissapointed it was not what is advertised in the pictures on the web site, in fact it was old, not kept up to date.
