It would have been helpful if the staff gave clearer instructions and if they provided a phone number for taxi services for arriving guests.to at least get them close to the hotel."

From the comprehensive information provided prior to arrival, to our welcome from Carla, the amazing, spacious room and wonderful amenities, this property ticks all the boxes. It is superbly located within the Sassi of Matera and it’s easy to access key sites. Carla provided us with a map, highlighting areas of interest. She also recommended numerous restaurants and even booked us in to one when we returned later in the afternoon. Her recommendation...
