"Awesome place"

"Dieses Hotel ist schon lange kein 5 Sterne Hotel mehr - alles ist sehr renovierungsbedürfrig - vor allem die Badezimmer sind Standard der 80iger Jahre (siehe Bildet) und gesamte Einrichtung ist eine Mischung aus Antik und Trödel. Die Technik ist ebenfalls aus den 80iger Jahren. Das Frühstück hat ebenfalls eher den Standard eines 3 Sterne Hotels. Die sehr einfachen Liegen am Strand sind morgens von den „schnellen“ Gästen für den ganzen Tag „reserviert“ - es gibt strikt ein Handtuch pro Gast....

"Fine hotel. Enjoyed the views from pool deck. Great location. Rooms are very spartan but the bathrooms are clean and modernized… albeit compact. The balcony’s are very loud because of the busy road and passersby right below. If you are not planning to spend a lot of time in your room, it’s a good hotel option and staff was great."

"Beautiful room with a great view over looking the bay. The spa was awesome, the service throughout the hotel was spectacular and the breakfast had a great variety of food to choose from to start your day. Would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent location. Close to Portofino and walking distance to many Santa Margareta shops and great restaurants. Access to the sea is easy and quite nice."

"Stay away! This hotel is a nightmare! We arrived in July. The AC does not work and has a LOUD whistling/rattling noise. Spent 2 nights here and barely slept. Baffled at how this hotel has a 4 star rating. It is 3 stars at best. Don’t be deceived by the images. It’s not what you will get. The room is old and grungy, the amenities, breakfast, service and overall experience is way below average."

"Hotel Bristol Palace is a beautiful historic property in an excellent location for exploring Genoa. We walked to many of the major attractions, restaurants, aquarium, Piazza De Ferrari, and Columbus House. The hotel itself is elegant, bed exceptionally comfortable, and sheets and pillows among the best of our trip. The terrace restaurant is lovely. "We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard.
