"We went upscale on this vacation and went for a junior suite facing the beach was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The various restaurants provided a good variety on menu and cost. Yoga on the beach was so relaxing for mind and body."

We had a studio with a king size bed that had an ocean view but no balcony which we were initially interested in but this did not impact our experience overall . "Just returned from our week long stay at Beaches TCI. We loved our time there, however just a couple of bumps to recognize. It room was beautiful but shower curtain smelt of mildew. Once we brought it to housekeeping attention it was replaced immediately. Resort it very large so took a bit to get acclimated. Was an effort for someone to actually give us a printed layout of the resort but someone did find one. We figured there would be more information on the resort and itineraries, shows....

"Royal west is a quaint and quiet resort that offers a beach getaway that has a chill vibe. The Pelican restaurant is very good as well as the happy hour from 5-7. Everyone is extremely friendly. Sherman at checkin is a sweetheart ! "

"We couldn’t really see beach from our room because room was on the first floor. Breakfast was just OK. Quality coffee could be much better. There are not enough tables if you’re coming around 9am and you have to wait in the line. There is no hand shower. Check out time is on 11am and there is no changing room and shower available for customers. "

The building and the actual suite is dated tho and not very well maintained. Overall, the hotel rate is good considering the location of this resort but will likely not stay there again. "

"Don't book. The worst of the worst. False advertising! No white sand, no sound proof room, no restaurant on site, and no help when there is problems. Yes it's cheaper, because it's dirty and advertise untrue. A towel rack on the ground in the room, the mini fridge leaked, the ceiling fan wouldn't turn off, a stove and filth in the hallway etc. I have pics. They say sound proof room, I have multiple recordings of how loud the music is next door in the room. I tried to resolve the problem and...

"The staff especially Suzanne offers an excellent warming welcome. The place is clean . Just be aware that the hotel is 5min drive to the beach . However, the hotel offers drop off and pick up from the beach . The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking tools. "
