"The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned.
The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure.
Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...

"Amazing hotel. This is my 5th stay here. Only 2 gripes were the lift not working and we wer ein the 3rd floor and it was roasting even though we had the radiators off!
Will definitely be back again though. "

"Beautiful large room with nice toiletries, a spectacular View of the loch, nice lounge area with open log fires, excellent breakfast……everything was perfect, the only downside was the restaurant prices are very expensive and £4 for a can of irn bru was a bit of a cheek…..but a nice weekend away. We will definitely be back. "
