"This place was a surprise. I don't know much about the town but it seemed like a sketchy area where this motel was located. I arrived by Motorcycle and sent my wife a message saying I was going to be staying at what looked like the "Bates Motel". "We stayed 2 nights. The location was excellent! We parked the truck on Friday and didn’t have to start it again til we left because everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. "The place was great. I was looking for a quieter place away from downtown and this place fit the bill perfectly. When I got there I asked for a second floor room and they were able to accommodate me. The rooms had that historic feel and were well maintained- I thought the atmosphere was super nice.
