"The hotel is conveniently located near attractions in the Central Drakensberg. Check-in was easy and efficient. We had a problem with our air conditioner, which was swiftly resolved after reporting the issue. Parking is conveniently located close to the rooms. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Overall, a good experience and good value for money."

"Beautiful location with wildlife all around the lodge. Accommodating staff and a nice quiet get away. We just stayed one night on our trip across the country and Erma and Nichola were very friendly and helpful. "

"Staff was on strike BECAUSE NOT PAID FOR FEBRUARY BY ORION AS AT 23 MARCH.
Skeleton staff of six did an amazing job and must be commended.
Lovely spot, but looks as though it will go to the dogs if Orion doesn't wake up. Are they in financial trouble?"
