"Amazingly beautiful location with such fun amenities! Only disappointing part was the food, very expensive and pretty sub par. And it will take at least a 15 min drive to find other food, but otherwise such an amazing spot and would come back again."

"The resort is old and needs upkeep. There is no microwave or mini refrigerator in the room. Air conditioning is very loud. Location is good. I stayed in a downstairs unit and sound transmission from the upstairs unit is terrible."

"The staff were very helpful. The breakfast choices were very satisfactory. Our room was excellent and the river view was wonderful."

"Breakfast was not as nice as during other stays. Frittatas were good though. Issues with our door lock but staff were super helpful. Cabin window and outdoor furniture slightly broken. None were deal breakers, just not as nice as the last time I stayed here. Room was clean and we had what we needed."

"The owner was so helpful when we had a late check in and gave us useful information about the area and the park. The setting by the river is so peaceful and beautiful."

"We picked this spot because it is close to the medical clinic and a lot cheaper than the nearby Best Western. It’s showing more signs of age inside, while the exterior looks really god. The TV remote worked intermittently, even with new batteries, the TV itself was the worst sounding set, maybe ever, the toilet tank cover was a complete mismatch and the coffee table had stains that wouldn’t wash off. On the positive side, the shower was great (no flow restrictor!), the mini-frig was excellent...

"The HOT TUB wAS NOT WORKING. - A BIT DISSAPOINTING AS that was one of the reasons to book this . the staff and hotel were very courteous. shout out to the staff who returned my Gold chain which my daughter had left during check out - the lodge should reward the staff for honesty and appreciation - and doing the right thing. great location too -"

"Nice clean room, with easy checkin and parking right outside the door. We were on the ground floor I’d recommend the upper level as ground floor soundproofing is not great."

"It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe."

"We were here in the fall after the golf course closed and “winter pricing” was in affect. We were told it is quite busy during peak season, but it was darn near abandoned in November. Beautiful place with one golf course still under construction, more condos recently completed…lots going on for future amenities. Room was open and roomy with high ceilings and fireplace. View was gorgeous! We’ll be back!"

"Staff was very polite and nice, but we had paid in advance with hotels.com 3 months earlier - and were charged again when checked in, Howard’s hotel said they couldn't help our situation, (since they had changed or updated their computer system) and it didn’t show where we had paid.. but hotels.com contacted them and we were reimbursed so all turned out well.
