The family room we booked felt a little tired in places and could do with a little TLC/maintenance just to bring it back up to standard. "Petit déjeuner restreint mais reste convenable pour le prix. Chambre un peu petit avec une salle de bain ou il ne faut pas être trop imposant. Et à rénover surtout. Literie vieillot. Réservation faite pour 2 personnes mais nous n'avions qu'une serviette et pas de tapis de bains. La porte de la chambre laissait passé un gros courant d'air Personnel gentil point positif. Convient pour une nuit voir 2 maximum, mais pas plus. "

"Stop looking and stay here! Fabien’s hospitality made it so worth it. Met us upon arrival, very clear instructions and he brought us a fresh breakfast in the morning. Flat has everything a family of 4 (two young teen kids) could need. The location couldn’t be better, minutes away from historic sites and amazing food options. No street noise. Can’t say enough about how great the stay was, will return and stay here again, without hesitation. Merci Fabien!"

"We were not informed in advance that there would be no reception staff available when we arrived at the property. As a result, we struggled to complete the check-in process using the self-service machine. Unfortunately, there was a very unpleasant smell throughout both the room and the bathroom, which made our stay uncomfortable. The odor was persistent and difficult to tolerate. "The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was good. However there is nothing else around. We were on our way to La Rochelle and it was a good stop off point for one night. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Parking very easy and just of the autoroute"

The air conditioning was exceptionally appreciated as our stay was during a heatwave. Breakfast was brilliant- locally sourced goods, homemade cakes, lots of choice. Well worth the 16€.
