When you first get in, there is a big negative shock, you go to a small hot room to wait for the golf cart to take you down. At that point the your view is really bad and you see some very old ugly sun beds that makes you question your decision but as soon as you as you get on the golf cart and see the rest of the property you really fall in love. "We absolutely loved our stay here. The hilltop view overlooking the long swimming pool was stunning and incredibly relaxing. The intricate wood carvings on the doors, windows, and bedframe added such a unique and authentic touch to the space.
Breakfast was filling and satisfying each morning, and the staff were consistently friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We stayed on the ground floor, which was perfect for direct access to the pool right...

"Bottom line is we enjoyed this hotel very muc! The room (A03) was cottage style and had a very old fashioned feel. The view from our room was a view of the harbour and Mount Angung. We could see the mountain top with the clouds below it and it was amazing. The shower handle was broken and the button to change from overhead shower to hand held was sticky. "We had an awesome time at The Tamarind. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, even with the rollout bed for our daughter. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were absolutely beautiful, so helpful and friendly.
The only thing was the location, which was a short walk to the nearest beach.
As the hotel is built on a hill, there are lots of steps to get to your room and the pool, but the views are worth it!
