"We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. I’m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel...

"Das Resort liegt ein gutes Stück außerhalb von Bitung am Ufer der Lembeh Strait und wurde sehr schön in die Natur eingebettet. Alles ist erst wenige Jahre alt und gut gepflegt. Einzig die Tauchboote und das Dive Center nicht mehr so ansehnlich. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste in diesem sehr komfortablen Resort. Und haben einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier genossen. We had to show booking confirmation email (using hot spot from staff member’s phone as the free wifi was non-existent) before we were then offered an uncleaned room with a double and single bed, as well as a single sofa bed.
