Solitude

Only two villas were occupied hence it felt pretty exclusive. Great views and service. The spa / massage was really value for money , with extremely competent and friendly staff. Rooms wise : furnitures will need some update (hair dryer which feels like it’s going to explore & rusty , unstable door knob on the verge of falling off ) . Restaurant wise : very good food , but standards differ slightly daily. They need a more extensive menu of food as it may get tiring if one is to stay more than a week there. Overall : good stay.

Tauchen und Erholen

Das Resort liegt ein gutes Stück außerhalb von Bitung am Ufer der Lembeh Strait und wurde sehr schön in die Natur eingebettet. Alles ist erst wenige Jahre alt und gut gepflegt. Einzig die Tauchboote und das Dive Center nicht mehr so ansehnlich. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste in diesem sehr komfortablen Resort. Und haben einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier genossen. Der Service ist hervorragend und jeder Wunsch wird einem umgehend erfüllt. Seit diesem Jahr ist der amerikanische Manager Harley im Resort angestellt und hat damit begonnen, das Tauchen auf das Niveau des Resorts zu bringen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde am Dive Center das Dach aufwendig repariert, ohne das wir dadurch gestört wurden. Als nächstes sollen die Tauchboote erneuert oder ausgetauscht werden. Das Tauchen hat trotzdem sehr viel Spaß gemacht und mein Guide hat mir die sonderbarsten Kreaturen gezeigt. Mit der Küche waren wir etwas unzufrieden. Da gerade ein neuer Küchenchef gesucht wurde, gab es immer wieder Probleme bei der Qualität der Speisen. Jedoch ist Manager Harley bemüht das Problem abzustellen und die Karte zu erweitern. Wir sind der Meinung, dass das Resort auf einem guten Weg ist, zu einem der Top-Resorts an der Lembeh Strait aufzusteigen. Jeder ist gewillt sich zu verbessern und den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Investitionen werden durchgeführt und notwendiges Personal wird eingestellt. Wenn sich diese Entwicklung so fortsetzt, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Absolutely beautiful!

Had a great time staying at the hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with day bed on the porch which had a beautiful view of the ocean and the infinity pool. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Did a lot of diving with their on-site dive center; BEST macro dives in the world! Dive masters knew exactly where to find the most amazing creatures. Even snorkelling off the dock was incredible! Overall had a wonderful time, wish I was still there :)
