"Very nice we would stay again"

"Front desk / check in went well. Staff is super friendly and front lobby is clean. It was busy, so we may have gotten the bottom of the barrel when it comes to rooms. Our room smelled stale and sour. It wasn't the bedding, so perhaps the carpet? The sink didn't drain and the stopper was dislodged. Carpet was very dirty; dirt and rocks stuck to my feet so I kept socks / shoes on. Toilet rocks and doesn't feel stable. No back on the tv remote... very minor. It just overall felt unclean and...

"There were Several Maintenance issues at this hotel. Also, I believed that the maid service was to be daily in a hotel that cost $300+ per night. The management did not even try to be helpful in resolution of the problems. What they pointed out was that the original description of the maid service were clearly pointed out in the hotel info during booking. In retrospect it was buried deeply in the hotel writeup. "I thought this was going to be the bottom of the barrel, but it was not. So you can absolutely find worse but... this place wasn't good. I'm conflicted... it was the not good I'd probably stay at again for the price, but it was the not good I'd probably try to find something else, also.
