"I booked 4 nights at the Vanessie because it was located close to the downtown area of Santa Fe and the Railroad District. Also, I was looking for local charm, and thought the wood-beamed ceiling was cool.
I got there after 9:00 PM only to find out that they do not staff the Inn after 8:00 PM. I called the emergency number posted by the front door and Jay walked me through were to find my key codes (there are no keys, just coded locks) and got me into Unit 1. I immediately found small ants...

"The room was extremely clean, air conditioning was ice cold, beds comfortable and clean! The staff was absolutely next level. Extremely helpful and very friendly!
The building itself is very unique, with its neon exterior and impressively designed interior! Has a restaurant & bar, places to lounge and relax; with comfortable lighting at every corner.
Perfect unique place to stay for road trippers or anyone near 40! Knocked it out of the park!!! 11/10"

"The breakfast was virtually nonexistent. I was told by staff that three people one of them who might have been homeless came and took all the sausage within the first 10 minutes. Nothing was left when I got there except dried up scrambled eggs. Absolutely terrible."

"Place was lovely. We were charged a $25 amenity fee for each room. We did not realize when we booked on Expedia there would be this extra charge. When we inquired what it was for they said, parking and use of the pool/jacuzzi. Because we checked in around 8pm and since we had not yet had dinner we were unable to use the pool as it closed at 10:00. We also couldn’t use it in the morning because it did not open until 9:00am and we checked out at 7:45 to get to a business meeting. We only had one...
