"nice large room with a king size bed. only one chair , a desk chair... lots of room for a comfy chair or loveseat. tv set up is not great as it didn't turn well to watch while on bed ( the only place to sit) . coffee pot was gross... they did come anð bring a clean one though. no water in the rooms to drink, just tap water. Staff was friendly and helpful. room was clean and bed comfortable."

"There was never staff around, Was unaware that the restaurant and bar were going to be closed for the duration of our stay for renovations. Patio light did not work to sit out on our patio to enjoy the space.
Breakfast could have had more options like English muffins, muffins, yogurt."

"We’ve been staying @the HIS (this SJ location) about 6 times a year, for 2 + years. Our last visit was rather unpleasant, and quite frankly rather disappointing. The grout on the bathroom floor was coming-up between the floor tiles, a mess and first noticed, as I walked in the bathroom barefoot (ouch). This was easily noticed by cleaning staff, but never rectified. An inspection would have indicated an intervention was past-due

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom sink in room 325 needs to be replaced. The sink itself was cracked and the drain did not run freely - in order to brush your teeth, you had to rinse and drain the sink about four times ."
