"We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. "Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

"The place truly felt like a retreat. Everything felt homely and the staff are all beyond friendly you feel at home. The had a well maintained pool with a beautiful fireplace lit every night it wasn’t raining just next. If I had more time in hazyview I would definitely be spending it here. The restaurant was also exceptional. Super tasty food and also were extremely knowledgeable about gluten free which made it easy for my wife with celiac to eat here comfortably and well aswell.
