"This is a hotel of opposites. Great location in stone town but down a dark alley you can’t quite drive to the door. Helpful reception but we’d booked 3 rooms and they initially gave us 2. "The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."

"Probably the best place to stay in Stone Town. Clean rooms, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Beach is noisy and used by the local people. 15 minute walk to the old town and market."
