Room and entire property was kept clean, well maintained and fairly modern. Pools are small but efficient. We stayed a week in Wailea (more expensive) and was a little disappointed in the food on property at the Royal. "Unbeatable place! First time in Maui for our second Honeymoon. They even left a bottle of champagne in our room wishing us Happy Anniversary. The place is amazing, great pools, Jacuzzi, bar by the pool with live music every night! The complementary bikes and shuttles within the town is a great deal! We were able to get around without any trouble. The beach is across the street and easy access. Highly recommend!"
