"An amazing stay with exceptional flexibility and helpfulness throughout, from check-in to check-out. The charming old mansion, nestled in the heart of Tunis, boasts a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the fresh citronnade was a refreshing touch. We’ll definitely be back! The only downside is that the stairs might be a bit challenging for elderly guests, but everything else was perfect....merci again "

"The Dar el Jeld is like visiting a fancy aunt's house. My Tunisian friend pointed out the vessels that her grandmother would have used to make rose water or store couscous and I noticed the inclusion of local plants (jasmine, prickly pear) in the decor. "Very clean, and highly friendly staff towards my Goth Wife and her Goth friend. Beds were very comfortable. Free Breakfast was reasonable, various options of coffee or juice. Only down side is the lack of an Elevator. If you are Alternative this place is a good choice. All staff were friendly, desk, cook, and housekeeping are all welcoming. Only 3 staff shockingly it seems."
