"Clean modern hotel, great staff. Sometimes they couldn't understand me, but then they would call in someone who could speak better English. I stay here four days, took a trip the staff helped organize and then returned to this hotel till I left Mandalay. I started walking around the area. Stores and restaurants were close so I could avoid the healthy taxi prices when I was hungry. The road is torn up in front of the hotel but I feel sure it will be reapaired eventually. Try the shaved ice cream...

Leider war unsere Buchung von Hotels.com zum Hotel hin storniert worden. Zwischen Hotels.com und mir war die Buchung jedoch nach wie vor aktiv. Zum Glück zeigte sich das Hotel flexibel und offerierte uns eine Neubuchung zum gleichen Preis. Wir mussten jedoch die Uebernachtung bezahlen obwohl Hotels.com...

"Fantastic hostel, the sister hostel to Ostello Bello just down the road. This location is a bit more quiet than the other and has the advantage of the pool on site. Ostello Bello provides a lot of great group activities with easy to understand sign ups at a reasonable cost. Bagan is a place where most people want to get up early to see the sunrise and this hostel actually allows for quiet time starting early enough for anyone to get a good night’s rest.
