"This is the BEST affordable hotel I have found in Mandalay - I've tried at least 10. The facilities are very nice; the staff is excellent; the porters/bell boys are helpful without pushing; it is the shortest travel time I've had getting back to the airport; looking very forward to my return to Paragon next week! (I hope my review does not drive up the prices...). This would have been very nice if my wife could have been with me."

"I've stayed here before, so I was very disappointed that I was treated so badly this time. I was put in a room where nothing worked. All of the batteries in the remote controls were dead. I had to call down to have them come up and fix things. The worst though was a shower that didn't work. They tried to act like the fault was that the city was shutting off the power at certain times during the day, but my friends in other rooms had no such problems. "I came in on the overnight bus from Yangon, arriving to the hotel at 6:00 AM. I thought I would have to hang around until the afternoon to check in but they got me to my room right away. This hotel is so new I think I may have been the first one to stay in the room. You could still smell the fresh paint. The bed was great, it has a nice long desk for working (I had one of the corner rooms). It had a lovely bathroom with a tub and several shower head options. The staff were eager to help in...

"Expedia canceled the booking of my original hotel. They asked me to choose between 3 options to replace it, which I did in a timely manner. Despite my request, Expedia did not send me the booking for this new hotel on time. It was send to me after few hours I checked in another hotel that I have to look for muself. I had to go around time to check the options that Expedia gave One of the options that Expedia gave to replace the original booking is even out of service."
