"We have stayed at other BK's and always found them to be of a good standard. Unfortnately, this was not up to that standard. Althought the daily cleaning appeared to be fine the carpet badly needed a proper shampoo clean to remove dirty marks all over it. The two armchairs also needed a proper clean, very dirty handmarks etc. on the arms and the seats."

"Everything was ok and Plateau Lodge is one of the best we have stayed for our hiking trips. The only little problem is just photo displayed when I booked. It shows a nice outdoor bath tub, so I expected the room I booked looks like this. However, that is indeed for another room type."

"I stayed for 3 nights during local trail running race event. The place is really tidy and well maintained. I sensed the owners' passion for this place and Tongariro region. The kitchen is spacious, has large fridges and everything you need. You can bring your own food and cook without any hassles. The lounge is even better with pool table and table tennis table. There are two decent restaurants, a petrol station and 4-square supermarket nearby, so you can find all the essentials. "
