"Spent 6 nights with wife and location lives up to reputation as all time great romantic getaway. Was never once bored. Beautiful blue water, great snorkling on island, didn't see a mosquito once, great food, and peerless service. Our host Maudey went above and beyond, even finding super glue for us when something unexpectedly broke. 5.8 underwater dinner was a highlight, and we did dream island on last night, which was fun after seeing it in the distance during stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. "It was all very good until check out as I was being accused taking their laundry bag. After few discussions they agreed not to charge the cost of laundry bag. However it already left a bad taste in my mouth so I took one star off. The location was very good being close to the bikini but it’s under construction while I was there. It made the water so murky that it wasn’t very inviting as well as the noise of the trucks killed the peace & quite. I’m sure in a year the beach will be nice again....

"The resort is excellent for snorkelling. A short swim through the shallow sandy water to a rich variety of coral and fish. It’s like being in an aquarium. We were able to snorkel around the entire island over our stay. The resort itself was good value for the cost. Not super fancy nor do you get the personal touch like you get at other resorts in the Maldives but still good overall. The room was modern and always clean. Overall, a good resort to stay at and I would go back."
