"The hotel is very dated. The room we were in was small, which wasn’t a problem, apart from it was stuffed full of 90’s furniture - we were literally tripping over it and each other. The door hit into the bed as we walked in, there four sets of drawers (12 drawers!), a fridge, bed (very small), tub chair and massive TV. "This is a really good hotel. The location is great for the theatres and cinema in Nottingham. It's in front of Rock City and a 20 min walk from the station. There are good restaurants nearby but the hotel also has 2 restaurants, room service and bar meals. It's worth upgrading to use the Club Lounge too. Comfy beds, quiet rooms and a bath! Theres a pool and soa too. No complaints!"

"Lovely, quiet, hotel in a residential area very close to the River Trent. Ample free parking, although the staff will need a note of your vehicle registration. Our superior king size room was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is an in room kettle, tea, coffee etc as well as a coffee machine with pods Although we were only there for one night there was plenty of space in the wardrobe and there were also lots of hangers - which makes a refreshing change....
