"Great hotel in a slightly remote location—if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect. We absolutely loved our stay, and it was very convenient for all the activities we wanted to do. The guides were excellent, and it’s a fantastic spot for seeing the Northern Lights. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and well presented. "Hotel was clean and cozy and the staff was very nice and helpful. I arrived early before check in and was truly appreciative they were able to get me in the room early. Restaurant was great with a good variety of options, including at the buffet breakfast. I only wish the location was more central, there is nothing walking distance to it. If staying here I recommend having a car, or know you'll need to uber/taxi into town and back. Public transportation is very limited even during high...

"We had the most amazing time at Shaman Village. The igloo was beautiful, spotless and had everything we needed. We were lucky to see the northern lights and it was the perfect end to our trip. The owners were very kind and helpful. Shaman village is a small family run place in the forest, rich in history. If you get a chance, book a tour with the owner, it was also a great experience. I would recommend to anyone and I hope we can come back one day. What a wonderful experience we had! "
