"Finding the right reception was challenging. We were there in a slow season so the 1 st 2 reception areas were closed. Actually most things were closed. At least it was very quiet. The menu options for the dinner were limited and not very good, but the breakfast was good. This is definitely a place for kids. As an adult couple, we wished we’d stayed elsewhere. "

"Our stay at Halo Igloo was incredible. The room was lovely, everything was very clean and the hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. On one day when we couldn’t get a taxi to one of our activities the man on reception offered to take us so that we would not miss it. Lovely accommodation and people. We hope to visit again. "

"Apukka resort had very nice Glass Igloos with beautiful surroundings. Resort had several activities offered - Husky rides, Rein deer sled rides etc. We however preferred to enjoy the already available activities like Rein deer farm viewing, Frozen lake walk, Fire camping , snow tubing , snow Sledding there . Breakfast was exquisite with several choices ranging from jucies , desserts, main course food like oatmeal, pancakes, varieties of breads, cheese . We stayed here for the glass igloos experience and hopes to see northern lights. For our bad luck it was a very cloudy day that night , else the resort is far away from Rovaneimi lights and a perfect place for northern lights viewing . "
