"Onsen hotel in kyoto, the onsen and the massage chairs were fantastic. Staff spoke a small amount of English and were able to sort out most issues that we had. Rooms were extremely dark, but the bed and pillows were hard, it took some adjustments for my wife and I to get to sleep."

"The exterior and the lobby area of the hotel were beautiful. Some of the walls were a bit dated. I.e. there seemed to be some kind of a small water leak in the hall. The room itself was large with a good size bathroom and free slippers and robes and small refrigerator and the kettle. Everything in the room was quite clean and there was a very nice breakfast buffet for free. Excellent price for the room and quite close to the shopping areas."

"We had such a great stay! The hotel was located off the main streets for shopping and within walking distance of bus stops and the subway - so convenient! We loved every aspect of the stay. A beautiful lounge area in the lobby, clean rooms, and helpful service."

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

"ひとり旅で利用しました。 地下鉄駅から7分くらい？ バス停目の前ですが1時間に2本でした。 二食付き安価で予約でき 早くから食べれる朝食は良かったです。 夕食は定食かカレーで質素な感じです。 いつも歩き回って食べ損ねてしまう私にはにはよかったです。 もし京都旅行で行きたい飲食店があればそちらを優先した方が良いかもしれません。 学食のように長くテーブルを配置していて間隔が狭くとても出入りがしずらかったです。 せめて壁側からも通れるようにしてほしいです。 しかしながら大浴場も気持ちよいですし大満足です。 スタッフの方々もよいのでひとり旅の時には候補とさせて頂きます。"

"Very close to Kyoto station. Loved the entrance. Hotel staff was very accommodating. As with the other hotel we stayed at in Tokyo space is an issue. Traveling with several pieces of luggage it is a real challenge. Add in umbrellas to dry out. We managed but stubbed our toes a few times. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was excellent."

"The location of the hotel is very convenient. nearby a subway station. However the nearest exit to the hotel does not have an lift which cause difficulties with our big luggage. Need to use another exit. "
