"The room was a bit dusty. Check-in took a bit of time and the concierge were not exactly friendly compared to other hotels we stayed throughout Japan. Location was good nevertheless. Loved the sauna provided by the hotel. "

"一階にあるライブラリーというレストランでと軽く夕食を取ったが、値段と内容が釣り合っておらず、スタッフの応対も冷 たい印象を感じさせるもので、がっかりした。店内もガラガラで明らかにお店の選択を誤ってしまった。せっかくの京都旅行の夕食が、一回つまらないものにもなった。宴会が行われていたが、関係者が我が物顔でロビーや通路を占有しておリ、ホテルスタッフも全くコントロールをしておらず、不愉快な場面が多かった。今回で二度目の利用だが、次回は、別のホテルを利用しようと家内と話している。"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it felt like a good in between of a hotel and a ryokan. Then Onsen was amazing, I highly recommend going when they first open to avoid crowds during peak hours. The beds were probably my biggest complaint, they were not the most comfortable but they were not bad either. We did not have any of the food at the restaurant, we always went somewhere local. It’s a 5 minute walk from the Kyoto train station and there is a bus...
