"Very nice, very helpful staff. Lovely property—especially the villas with private pools. Good gym, good restaurant. Only downside is that it’s pretty isolated with not a lot to do nearby. But if relaxation is what you want, you’ll get it."

"We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small.
The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze.
There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. We were able to hop into a rickshaw for shops, ATM and bird sanctuary.

"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"

"My wife and me spent a few days here during our 3 week tour of Kerala in February 14. We chose it to get the real backwater experience so were not worried about the slightly remote location. Our room was basic but once we had learned how to use the bucket and jug method of washing all was well, the cold water shower wasn't really needed. An excellent place to chill out, we spent hours on the lovely veranda watching the abundant wild life: a king fishers spotters dream. The peace and tranquility...
