"The Blanket hotel has excellent staff. It is a boutique hotel but has all the amenities you need. They also provide lots of additional services such as yoga, nature walk, cooking demos and so on. The pool is also beautiful. The location next to the waterfall makes it magical. The other guests don’t follow rules much when it comes to use of the pool in proper attire. Coming to the lifts, only 3 lifts are there and some of them does not have all the buttons working, also at some point the card stopped working, not a single case, I heard many people complaining about lifts.. so frustrating, so much time was spend around lifts. "The hospitality, housekeeping and general staff were excellent. This Taj is not a 5 star property. As much as one can appreciate its history, it is a dated property, yet it sits in the middle of a bird sanctuary. Be aware, the luxury villas have bathrooms that are open air. They do not have AC! This is most uncomfortable in a tropical climate. The hairdryer is attached to the wall making it impossible to dry your hair in a cool environment. This is not my idea of 5 star."
