"Staff were friendly. The location was great, especially for the price. Location was literally right off the interstate and made getting to/from Kansas City and Lawrence easy. Room mostly clean, but smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking room. Also had debris/dirt on the floor. Amenities were overall good, but internet quality was not great--my phone and laptop regularly disconnected regardless of where in the room I was. Also very noisy through most hours of the night--people screaming or being loud outside/next door. I realize that's not the fault of the hotel, but definitely influenced my overall experience here. I would consider staying here again if I was by myself; however, this isn't a hotel I would recommend to others or would stay at if traveling with family."

"Staff was decent although hard to understand. Rooms where clean! Bathroom was clean. My issue was with the fact that the bathroom door didn't lock, the beds made noise if you moved and they allowed loud mexican music all night. There where constantly people just sitting on the stairs in the stairwell and that was the only way up. So then your trying to slip past ppl well not knocking them in the head. The breakfast was just eh cold sausage. Eggs where nasty. The kids did like the waffles. No bagels or anything. A few pre packaged dry muffins. We ate it one morning the next decided to opt for McDonald's... would i stay here again...probably but it's it the best pick.... nope"

"Requested extra blanket with no issue. Needed extra towels with only 3 in our room and 2 washcloths. Breakfast had 2 hot items out at 9:20 am but staff able to replace 1. Staff friendly. Hotel clean but a little dated and not much extra space in bathroom or room "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL Me and my friends booked this hotel to stay for 2 nights. We reserved double room or a room with 2 queen beds. When we checked in the first night, they gave us 2 rooms with one king bed in each room cause they didnt have any double room available. Alright, not what we reserved but understandable. So we checked in for 2 rooms. The second night, we had a long day and returned to the hotel. When we entered one room, the bed was completely stripped and the bedding stuff was on a couch. The room was still not cleaned and it looked like someone started cleaning but left it in the middle of the process. Mind you our luggages were still in that room. Then we tried to enter the second room to see the status and our key card didnt work. Then turns out there was another guest in that room. So they had checked out one of our rooms to new guest on our second day of stay. We raised this issue and the lady in the front desk was just making excuses and started explaining that it’s the morning staff that did it and all that. We had to leave the hotel late at night and find another hotel for the night. Staff is unprofessional, unorganized, and unreliable. They do not pay attention to customer’s concerns. So DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, if you dont wanna end up having to find another hotel emergently."

"Been staying for a few weekends now. Normally great but only issues were the shower head was garbage and needs changed. My key stopped working on my second night but they helped to get it fixed. Tried to have the fire first night but couldn't get it going so make it a bit easier to have that would be nice. Then I have until 12 to clock out and they tried coming in early without knocking and that the door was locked."
