"Aging hotel is long overdue for an update. Rippled carpets are tripping hazard, towels are no longer white, understaffed like most places in Alex Bay. Its okay, good views from our room."

"This is an older fashioned complex of cottages in a beautiful green area sat back from a quiet highway. If you want an ultra-modern, all conveniences pace to stay, this is not for you. If you want to quietly relax in the old fashioned way this most definitely is for you."

"I never like to put down a place that's "trying". This location is on the water and very close to all activities (downtown) so that's a plus. The office was very responsive to needs/problems ... and friendly. Price was a bit high to us, but maybe not for this location. The unit (attached cabin) was NOT spectacular. Lots could be improved. If you have the money ... stay elsewhere. If not, this is a good base for seaway cruises, etc."
