"The Hampton Inn and Suites Boise-Downtown hotel was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. The staff that we interacted with were all extremely nice, pleasant, and helpful. The hotel checked on us via text message throughout our stay which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great and just enough variety for such a hotel. "This place is almost comically bad. I was rolling through Boise and needed a place at the last minute. The facilities were broken down, dirty, and truly sub-standard. I literally brought my sleeping bag from my car -- I couldn't imagine was the sheets were like under the bedspread. I've stayed in thousands of hotels -- this quite frankly was the WORST of the bunch."

"No notice of construction before booking. Less than 24 hour notice of construction workers needing to come in our room and were very forceful and rude. Room was left dirty after construction workers left. Construction workers came in with no notice while we were gone.
