"Selva Verda is in a beautiful location on the Sarapiqui river, slightly further off the tourist trail but a true eco-lodge. Great place to stay to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican rainforest and spot wildlife. We spotted a lot within the lodge area. I would recommend the guided nature hike which took us further into the grounds of the lodge. The guide was very knowledgeable and went at a manageable pace for our group of mixed ages. The swimming pool was good. Rooms are functional and clean...

"Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance.

"El cuarto del presidential suite en las ventanas le hacian falta persianas, el cual permitia el ingreso de la claridad cuando amanecia. Luego el olor de la habitacion, se percibia un olor a humedad por falta de ventilacion del cuarto.
El cuarto si era comodo en cuanto a tamaño y por otro lado comida estaba bien. Sin embargo observe un gato dentro de la cocina eso no me agrado mucho.
El personal que hay se observo que hacen u esfuerzo por brindar un buen servicio.

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. Both guides were very knowledgeable and we had a great time on both tours. Multiple trails on the property to explore on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "The place was beautiful. It was clean on arrival. We stayed 4 nights. The wifi only worked one day. We had clean up service 3 out of the 4 days. The security of the grounds were spot on. The complex was a little hard to find. But if you get a cab with a driver familure with the area it's ok. The price was really good and inexpensive. The bed was a tad hard. But all in all we would stay again. "
