"Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! Highly recommend the restaurant Peskesi in Heraklion (book) and a visit to Stilianou winery (both highlights of our brief but very comfortable stay at this hotel)."

"This is a bigger hotel that seems to cater to business travelers rather than offering a European hotel experience. Lots of little amenities. Very clean and nice. Dining at the hotel was expensive. We left before breakfast opened but they put together a box breakfast that was very nice to have for our travels. 15 minute walk to the port. The port here was not as charming as the one in Chania but if you are leaving by ferry, it seems this property is a quiet and comfortable option. You cannot walk...

"Property is certainly not 5* more like 3 or 4* - quite tired in areas, food options at night very similar, not great quality and lots of food missing as not replenished.
Room quite basic and swim up room was not worth it as ours was in the shade for much of the day.
The property is quiet but lacks choice of facilities."

"Overall the Mitsis Laguna is an excellent resort. It's well maintained and the staff are extremely polite and helpful making the overall experience excellent. The only point to make was the sound proofing in the bungalow that we had near the 2nd pool. We could hear the people both above and in adjoining room quite clearly and the early morning cleaning outside woke us up most mornings."

"We had a lovely stay. It’s a perfect place for children and our seven year old had a lovely time. Staff were lovely. There were lots of pools to choose from. And the food was fresh and tasty."

"Wir waren im Mai mit unserem 5-jährigen Enkel da. Leider wenig Familien mit Kindern, aber er wurde vom Personal mit Shakes und Eis verwöhnt. Das Essen ( Buffet ) war durchweg gut.
Der Strand war super!"
