"This is a bigger hotel that seems to cater to business travelers rather than offering a European hotel experience. Lots of little amenities. Very clean and nice. Dining at the hotel was expensive. We left before breakfast opened but they put together a box breakfast that was very nice to have for our travels. 15 minute walk to the port. The port here was not as charming as the one in Chania but if you are leaving by ferry, it seems this property is a quiet and comfortable option. You cannot walk...

Der Gastgeber Markos ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich gibt praktische Tipps und ist ein ganz besonderes herzlicher Mensch. Wenn ihr mit Google Maps anreist, wird bei der kirche in Achlada angezeigt, dass sie das Ziel erreicht haben. Doch dies ist falsch ihr müsst noch gut 600 m weiterfahren, dann seht ihr auf Höhe des Friedhofs ein Schild, wo die Unterkunft angeschrieben ist. Erst dann habt ihr das Ziel...

"Highly recommend. I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter). All in all very good value for money. There is also an excellent beach side restaurant with good food and wonderful staff - especially Niko. I'm looking for to returning again in the spring."
