"Loved it"

"Upon arrival our room smelled terrible- like mold and mildew. The front desk woman was very kind and patient with me and showed me five different rooms. One seemed to be a little better-so we took it. But of all the rooms she showed me they ALL smelled the same. Moldy mildewy & wet! Breakfast was as expected. A little underwhelming, but it was the basics of a continental. There is a waffle house right next-door-so. The room itself wasn’t too bad except for the smell, the shower trim, etc....

"I booked a room at 10:30pm mistakenly the the date I was making on. I didn’t need a room for that night, it was for a future date. I realized it while payment was processing and was unable to cancel it. I called the property immediately and asked to amend the reservation as I would not be checking in that night but needed it for the following day. The property directed me to Expedia and said they couldn’t change anything. I contacted Expedia, and they said they would reach out to the property....

"Wow, I just had the most incredible experience at The Steamboat Inn! Shoutout to the amazing innkeeper, David, who shared so many fascinating stories about the local history. Every conversation with him was a delight! And can we talk about the food? The cook did an outstanding job; every bite was a treat. I’m so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to return!"
