"the property is quiet bucolic and somewhat serene, anachronistic in a good way, great place for a private getaway. The rooms were too cold even n the summer and attempts to lower the AC were ineffective, needs to be remedied, also the gym is in need of a major remodel, walls were smeared and dirty as well as ceiling times and 2 of the machines about 10 worked, literally just a few mismatched weights to be had. After sharing that we physically couldn't walk up and down all those stairs (with luggage in tow), we were given a room on the first level at the same price.
