"Overpriced premium business hotel well located. 300 USD a night with no breakfast, no minibar, no cleaning (unless you ask I guess) and $25 a small glass of everyday red wine, no thanks, the oil money is going quickly to local entrepreneurs head, a pity"

"Staff seemed stern at first but once we started chatting she was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, great omlettes and a variety of guyanese foods. The hotel is a bit older and could use some freshening up. Did not like the glass bathroom walls. The water in tap was sometimes rusty. I feel the area outside hotel does not have enough shady trees and could be cleaner. Girls at reception were very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you."

"Nice facility. However lacked amenities such as wash cloths which are normal in most hotels. Guests were given a tutorial on regulating the heating and cooling system by an ‘engineer’ with limited English proficiency which was common among other staff. Discrepancies in quoted price to that charged. Breakfast lacked variety and no gym and television .. growing pains ? "
