My cousin and I stayed at Princess July 11 -14th room #612. Someone walked into our room at 2:30am and turned on the lights the first night we stayed there. I called the front desk and the receptionist at that time said they will relate the complaint to the manager at 8:30am but did not. I went down and follow-up in the morning before going for breakfast. I spoke to the manager who expressed to me that no one told her anything. I am extremely disappointed that this matter was handled as though it is no issue. Me and my family travel to Guyana frequently but usually stayed at Grand Coastal. This was our first stay at Princess because we had a function to attend in West Demerara and the PPP/C fundraiser dinner which took place at Princess on Saturday July 12th. Because of the way this incident was handled I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I understand human error since we switched room, but this should have been handled with respect for your guests. No one even reached out to us afterwards. We are also Club Wyndham owners and are extremely DISAPPOINTED and will complin to them also. Hopefully these kinds of hotel staff mistakes will be handled better in the future.
