"I enjoyed the workout room"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this charming, comfortable historic hotel. Staff accommodated our early check-in request. Loved the location on Main St. with many walkable good food options, as well as shopping, the river, parks, and trails. The hotel vibe was very chill and relaxing. Breakfast was minimal, but enough for a nice start. Loved hanging out in the lobby, including with our drinks from the Winslow Bar, for which we used our $10 hotel coupon. "Main door is being worked on right now, so had to enter through sides. Staff was nice, but you have to pay $15/night for parking — weird considering the parking lot isn’t gated so anyone could come in/out."

"The hotel was super gross. The smell was smoke/old throughout the room. There were spots in the room seats such as the recliner, walls, and the desk chair was so warn. The carpet was very run down and felt gross to even walk on. The bed was awful and woke up with a back pain. I strongly suggest NOT to stay here."

"Two of the lights in my room didn’t work, so I got behind the nightstand to check if it was plugged in - only to find that everything behind the night stand was coated in dust & crumbs. (Also - it was plugged in, just not working) There was rust visible on the doorframe of the bathroom (it appeared to have been painted over several times) and water damage on the ceiling tiles. The room was musty upon entry."

Swimming pool closed, card enty didn't work, no refrigerator and microwave, calking looked like a two-year-old did it, tub leaked into lower floor as reported by the person staying in lower room, no phone to call to desk, no elevator, and requested adjoining rooms and did not receive. Went down to desk and rang the bell for ten to fifteen minutes before anyone came and then they didn't seem to care. Desk attendent says they will be remodeling in a month but if they're going...
