"We loved the architecture of the historic lodge and its beautiful setting on the Lake. The huge public room with fireplace and leather club chairs was charming and cozy to hang out in, especially at night or a rainy day. Staff very friendly and eager to please The restaurant had quite good food and nice ambiance, though a bit expensive. Great trails both short and long, to explore the forest. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the grounds and lake, but it was quite ordinary in terms...

"Surprised this is listed through Expedia. This place is need of a serious update. The pictures on Experia are nothing like the real thing. Beds, toilet, shower, cabinets, landscaping are poor. The room right next to us was in total disarray, not under reconstruction, but like totally torn up. We could not even enjoy the patio without looking at this mess and the poor landscaping. We will never stay there again"

"Have stayed here several times because of the dog friendly rooms and free breakfast. The rooms are dated but everything works fine. Pool was clean and great for short laps. The hot tub was set at 90 degrees. Only hiccup was, given a key to an occupied room. The was fixed quickly. I would stay here again."

"Our suite at the Wanderlust Inn in Shore Acres, WA, was spacious, very clean, and nicely appointed. The two beds were comfortable. The TV set up was good. I appreciated the convenience of parking right outside a ground-floor room. I do prefer carpet to the wood floors in this inn. But it was a great stay right in the heart of Ocean Shores and very near the beach where we had a great time at the kite festival."

"Breakfast is nice and clean. Coffee is good. The staff is excellent! The only minor issue was a bit of dust in the room that triggered my allergies, but it was easily managed with Zyrtec and didn’t ruin the stay. Overall, I would go back and stay there!"

"The outside looks like an old motel, but the rooms were very impressive. They looked as if they had been completely renovated with new wood floors, new sheet rock and finishing, new baseboards and doors and trim. A nice size smart TV and a hide abed couch that looked new with a coffee table. A small desk and chair. pictures and wall decor was lovely. Bed was very comfortable with many pillows. The bathroom looked completely new. And the price couldn't be beat for what we got. Very lovely...

"I like the cabin, some parts not so much such as the continuous tripping of the electricity. Every time I took a shower the electricity gets interrupted due to the wire can't handle having the air pulled and the light can't handle both on. In the kitchen there's some missing baking kit such as an oven glove and baking sheet. The excuse for not having the oven glove is to to use kitchen towel as the one to pull the baking pan out off the oven last I know between a kitchen towel and an oven...

"I loved all the areas to gather & enjoy. Since i was solo I didn’t use them. But I did walk all the property & checked it out. I was looking forward to using the sauna, so was disappointed it wasn’t available. Everything was very clean! Great water pressure for the shower. I’ll stay again!"
