"The room was nice but the hallways were departed with peeling wallpaper and construction appeared to be going on. The hallways were not air conditioned and were very hot and humid. Guests should have been warned about the construction before booking. The room was good and the a/c in the room worked well but you were hot with a wave of heat in the inner hallways. Staff was nice"

"The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. "

"This place needs shut down. There were stains on the sheets and it smelt like mold/mildew. The front desk lady asked me to go get her and 2 other people McDonalds. She gave me $20 and it was $26. 1/2 star dump"

"The check in was super simple. The place was so cute and clean. We loved our stay. The only thing was the shower is definitely not made for tall people, which we both are. It does have a removable shower head so we did make do. Otherwise it was a 10/10 stay."

"Our stay was Jun 10 – 12, 2026 From the manager to cleaning crew, all were very accommodating and, I observed, ready to help with any issues that arose or give you directions to places of interest. While trying to keep my step count up, I walked the halls and sidewalks. All areas were well maintained. Breakfast was great. There was a wide assortment of foods to eat, trying to appeal to all guest wants. Coffee, tea and water are available 24 hours. The only issue I had, and this was...
