"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast...

"Our stay has been nice. What saddens me is the trash I saw on the beach. It’s not in front of the hotel but all along the beach. People here don’t respect the beauty they have here enough to put their trash and recycle in the right containers and our oceans and beaches suffer from it."

"We had a pleasant experience at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for a night after a long flight. Located close to the CMB airport so it was convenient for us take the taxi and stay the night before our tour of Srilanka. The staff was kind enough to accommodate an early breakfast so that we can be on our way by 8am. They helped us with our luggage up to our room as well. Thank you for everything."

"This is an ideal place to reset your body — with Ayurvedic treatments, meals tailored to your body type, and yoga every morning and evening. Most people seemed to stay for 3–4 days, but I really recommend a longer stay. I stayed for 16 days and was able to fully detox and relax. The staff are all warm and kind. It might be a good idea to bring something to pass the time during those little in-between moments when you’re not sure what to do. You can easily go out for short trips of 2–3 hours...
