"Me and mother visited Unawatuna in April and we have chosen the Dionis Villa because the location of the villa seemed very convenient. Indeed we found it very suitable for all our needs! Waves are pretty strong at Unawatuna beach so we walked to the stunning Jungle beach which is just about 10 minutes walk from the villa. "More akin to a Guest House, this small hotel offers a superb location for a relaxing break with beautiful, empty, sandy beach just a few meters away. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Rooms vary but ours was air conditioned; basic but comfortable, this is not 4* accommodation but there again, you are not paying 4* rates. Free WiFi is provided but does come and go and is never high speed so don't expect to be streaming your favorite TV shows. Food is good value and we enjoyed everything...

"Staffs were really friendly and so helpful. Room is very clean and there was daily housekeeping. Soap and shampoo and towel was available Breakfast buffet was amazing😋 There was 2 swimming pool near the beach And finally the great view from the room. This hotel is close to bentota railway station but sometimes no stop there. Totally that was perfect experience "

"Quando estavamos a fazer o chek in a rececionista disse que não tinhamos reserva. O Hotel tinha cancelado a reserva com o operador. Tentamos ligar várias vezes mas devido à diferença horária nunca fomos atendidos. Acabámos por ficar uma noite, tendo em conta o adiantado da hora mas pagando o quarto! O hotel está classificado como 5 estrelas mas equivale a 2 estrelas. Fica longe do centro e da praia, Está a precisar de obras e restauro no mobiliário. A Limpeza é muito deficiente. "This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! Thank you Banisha for being so friendly and welcoming! <3"
