"Lovely hotel, nicely located, luxurious and friendly staff. Most importantly, air conditioned rooms. The breakfast was good but unfortunately they had delicious selective options available that we didn’t know about until our last morning out of four we spent there. Aside from the breakfast buffet there was a piece of paper put on the table that we thought it was part of the table decoration. When we picked the paper on the last morning and flipped it open it had different breakfast offerings...

Shuttle to/from train station on day of arrival/departure was convenient. Spiez is a wonderful little town. This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we WILL definitely stay here again! "

"Eine kleine Oase am Ortsrand von Kandersteg.aussergewöhnlicher Spa -Bereich.freundliches,aufmerksames Personal, geschmackvoll und landestypisch gekleidet,Spitzen - Gastronomie und excellente Weinkarte. Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. Insgesamt aber fünf-Sterne Bewertung! "

"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "Had the most wonderful stay at this lovely family hotel in Kandersteg. The owners and staff made sure we were well looked after. The room was spotlessly clean & comfortable and had the most amazing view with a balcony. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and service was outstanding. The birthday suprise was a very thoughtful touch too! Definitely recommend this super hotel. "
