"This place is by far the most beautiful we’ve seen in all of Switzerland. The location is perfect, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The view is absolutely magnificent! The apartment is charming and fully stocked with everything you need. There’s a grocery store conveniently located on the lower floor of the building, and a laundry room available for use free of charge. "One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Perfect location with views of the mountains and lake. Friendly efficient staff. Excellent breakfast in beautiful dining room. Outdoor dining terrace.Full amenities including pool, spa etc.easy walk down to the lake and hourly bus uphill from the lake will also take you to Spiez railway station, convenient for connections to all parts of Switzerland. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Room was well maintained, breakfast spread was extensive, staff were top notch in terms of friendliness, sauna/infinity pool is incredible. Shuttle to/from train station on day of arrival/departure was convenient. Spiez is a wonderful little town. This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we WILL definitely stay here again! "

"Eine kleine Oase am Ortsrand von Kandersteg.aussergewöhnlicher Spa -Bereich.freundliches,aufmerksames Personal, geschmackvoll und landestypisch gekleidet,Spitzen - Gastronomie und excellente Weinkarte. Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. "I was a bit uneasy about the "no-front desk" feature because we had 2 rooms and the online check-in was somewhat glitchy. Upon arrival, we were greeted and all was straightened out with ease. This property is a no-thrills, barebones, geared for the younger crowd. The rooms are very plain, no desk, no chairs. Just beds and bathroom. The upper floors mountain view rooms are simply spectacular, featuring massive wall-to-wall windows. Amazing to wake up to incredible scenery. Convenient...

"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "

" Beautiful view from our room, This is a dated hotel, in a very beautiful spot. Has a nice pool, no hot tub, Sauna available upon request with 1 hour reservation. In our room it was a slight challenge to get in and out of the large tub to shower. Not ideal but it worked. Large windows and door that opened to a small deck. "

"From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly & were even given an early checkin. We had a spacious, cosy room with lovely views of the mountains. There was a balcony but we didn’t utilize it as it was snowing & cold during our 2 night stay. The shower gel & hand gel were fragrantly lovely. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The only very minor issue was the lack of a fridge & no kettle, although we were immediately provided with one after we made a request. What is so special...
