"Blue Heaven Island is not a hotel. It’s like staying at your friend’s private island. Jimmy and Eli will treat you as their own houseguests, welcoming you with kindness and an eagerness to please. There is absolutely nothing on the island but nature itself. No cars, restaurants, tv, or bars. It is nature’s paradise. Jimmy’s French-Polynesian cooking is sublime and for a fee they can take you to the main island of Bora Bora if you want to shop or visit an island attraction. My children spent...

"Communication was easy and straightforward. Already from the moment we set foot in the resort we were warmly welcomed by Cheffy and the team. We spent 4 days enjoying the snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, bird island, the food and our cabin by the sea. The cabins are private, clean, ample, each of them special in their own way, and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The staff also lights up citronella at several places through the cabin to avoid mosquitoes and all beds come...

"The "cabins" are very crude. They don't have AC and are very dated. Having said that, it cooled off nicely in the cabin. There are gaps below door and around windows. If you are prepared for crude then it will be a good stay. You are right by the ocean and very quiet. There are bikes, kayaks and standing boards available for use. The meals were very good too. It was a good experience. Just don't expect fancy at all. "
